Michael purchased the company on December 1st, 1991
after 30 years of sales and marketing
positions with Dubois Chemicals.
Ludwig joined Dubois
Chemicals as a sales representative after graduating
from Miami University
of Ohio with a business degree. Moving to Edmonton,
Alberta Canada, Ludwig became vice president for Western
Canada before moving to Toronto in 1985 as executive
vice president for
sales and marketing in Canada.
Ludwig is a member of Associated Canadian Travellers,
past chairman of A.T.C. gold brick and
telethon, past director of Windermere G.&C.C.,
past director of the Alberta Foundation for Diabetes
Research and past chairman of the A.F.D.R. Gala Auction.
Michael Ludwig was honored
with the 1994 Entrepreneur of the Year Award in recognition
of his ingenuity, hard work and innovation.
Michael received the Roll of Honour Celebration of
Excellence award for his outstanding
philanthropic services to the community from The Alberta
Association of Fund Raising
Executives.

Jamie is a native Edmontonian, attending D.S. MacKenzie
Jr. High and Harry Ainlay Composite
High School before graduating from the University of
Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree
in finance and marketing.
Jamie spent 2 years as a sales representative for
Avco Financial Services prior to joining Red L
Distributors Ltd. in 1992. Starting out as a delivery
driver, Jamie moved into the warehouse to
pick orders, learned to fabricate hydraulic and industrial
hose assemblies, then to the order desk,
accounting department and on to sales and marketing.
Jamie Ludwig today is responsible for Red L Distributors
Ltd.’s most valuable assets - it’s customers.
With this primary objective Jamie spearheads his chosen
sales and marketing team to
provide the very best.
Jamie Ludwig sits on Goodyear’s North American
Council for Industrial Hose Distributors.

A native Edmontonian, Guy attended High School in
Mississauga Ontario before graduating
from Toronto’s George Brown College in 1993 with
a Construction Engineering diploma.
Guy worked as an apprentice carpenter prior to returning
to Edmonton, serving five years as
Red L’s warehouse manager, then marketing manager
for 2 years. In July 2003 Guy celebrated
his 10th anniversary with Red L. He has directed Red
L’s rapid growth, opening store and warehouse
operations in Calgary, Nisku, Grande Prarie and Bonnyville.
Today Guy is responsible for Red L’s entire
operational staff, buildings, tank farm and Chevron
Texaco product line. Guy has accepted numerous awards
on behalf of Red L most recently the
2006 gold award as Canada’s best Lubrication
Marketer from Texaco.
Guy has sat on AFDR’s corporate fund raising
board for 4 years assisting it’s golf tournament
in
raising over $ 40,000.00 for diabetes research.

Lafrance earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of Saskatchewan in 1972.
Rick Lafrance joined Red L Distributors in 1979 as
an industrial hose assembly fabricator.
Lafrance learned every facet of the business over the
next 25 years serving Red L in shipping
and receiving, sales and marketing, purchasing and
inventory control, special project, branch
and IT management, past VP Operations and chief operating
officer.
Lafrance today is the information technology
systems specialist overseeing the corporation’s
entire inventory control, accounting and communications
systems for Red L Distributors Ltd.
Currently Rick is implementing a world class state-of-the-art
wireless warehouse management
system to streamline existing processes.

Petryk graduated from the University of Alberta in
1979 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree becoming
a Certified General Accountant in 1998 and is a member
in good standing of the Canadian
Association of Certified General Accountants.
Ron Petryk’s career has been devoted to the
corporate financial and administrative workings of
several companies serving 10 years as controller for
a major vehicle leasing company, serving as
controller for an automotive dealership and oilfield
equipment manufacturer.
Petryk joined Red L Distributors
Ltd. as controller in 1999. Today Ron Petryk directs
the corporation’s
37 million dollar revenues, is corporate headquarter’s
administrator and financial adviser
to Red L’s group of companies reporting directly
to the Chief Executive Officer.
